November 10th, 1939 - March 22nd, 2019 Jerome Leon James age 79 of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, March 22nd, 2019, at his residence. Graveside services for Mr. James will be conducted on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery. He was born November 10th, 1939 in Hohenwald, Tennessee; the son of JC and Mary Willis James. He was a country music singer all his life, recording music with many talented artists. He is survived by companion, Lois Ann James; his children, Deborah VanGordon (Daniel), Kimberly Sue Rose (Tracy), Bradley Leon James (Donna), Christian Todd James, Sheila Denise Word (Rick); one sister, Linda Carroll Zaricor; seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
