Jerry Lee Wylie

Mr. Jerry Lee Wylie, age 76 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mr. Wylie will be conducted on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2PM at Bobbit Cemetery with Jake Wylie speaking. Interment will immediately follow.

Jerry was born November 2, 1949, in Kenton, TN; the son of the late Grady & Linnie Wylie. He was a plant manager at Liggett Corporation in South Fulton, where he retired, and attended Kenton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served his country with the US Army.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Wylie; two children, Jennifer Wylie Truett (Paul), Tracye Wylie; two stepchildren, Glenda Brown, Sissy Brinkley (Eddie); nine grandchildren, Kellie Hardin, Joseph Hardin (Paige), Emily Brinkley (Nike), Jake Wylie (Kendall), Nick Wylie (Haley), Caden Wylie (Brianna), Logan Campbell, Cayce Campbell, Jase Harris; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Jason Wylie; siblings, John Roy Wylie, Jane Wylie Ridenhour; and niece, Donna Brown.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Jason Wylie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, from 12PM until 1:30PM. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Jerry Lee Wylie.
