Joe Wallace Freeman

Joe Wallace Freeman, age 82 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Freeman will be conducted on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Kemper and Bro. Lane Self officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

He was born April 20, 1937 in Trenton; son of the late Arthur Russell Freeman and the late Mamie (Barnes) Freeman. He was a retired truck driver for Consolidated Freight, and member of First Baptist Church Dyer.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Freeman; four children, Rickey Joe Freeman (Karen), Belinda George, Renee Freeman, Eric Freeman (Crystal); one sister, Maggie Sanders; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, A James Freeman, Nell Cooper, and Betty Marie Halliburton.

Visitation with the family of Joe Wallace Freeman will be Friday, September 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer chapel.  Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Joe Wallace Freeman.
