Joe Carrol Stephens

January 6, 1945 — June 29, 2021

Joe Carrol Stephens of Kenton, Tennessee was called home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the age of 76. He was a believer in his Lord Jesus Christ and an active member of the First Baptist Church in Kenton, TN where he had served as a former deacon and Sunday School Director. He also was an active member of the West Tennessee Angus Association where in years past served as the president. While the world has lost a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend, and man of God, we know that he is celebrating and worshipping at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has left a Godly legacy for all to follow.

Joe was preceded in death by his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Ray Lane; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Stephens; his sister, Karen Nelson; and his brother, James Neal Stephens (Caroline). He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Stephens; children, Allan Ray Stephens (Beverly), Amye Lou Patterson (Rodney), and Abbye Carol Miller (Gregg); grandchildren, Hunter Ray Stephens, Jeremy Blake Stephens (Melissa), Logan Allan Stephens, Luke Stephen Patterson, Noah Alan Miller, Haley Raye Miller, and Hannah Grace Patterson; and great-grandchildren, Richard Andrew Stephens, Lauren Avery Stephens, Rhett Alexander Stephens, and Archer Blake Stephens; brothers, Marlon Stephens (Virginia) and William Stephens (Katherine); and sister, LaJune Brown along with a host of nieces and nephews.
