John Baird

Mr. John Robert Baird, age 89 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Baird will be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer, with Bro. Daymond Duck officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer.

Mr. John Robert Baird was born June 30, 1930 in Dyer, Tennessee; the son of the late John D. and Willie Lee Pierce Baird. He was a retired Carpenter for Dyer Builder Supply and served his country with the US Air Force. Military honors will be observed.

Mr. Baird  is survived by his son, Steve Baird. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lucille McFarlland Baird; sister Evelyn Hatfield; and his parents.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
