John Stacy Hanks

John Stacy Hanks, age 48 of Union City, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, February 3, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN. Graveside services for Mr. Hanks will be conducted on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:30 pm at Rutherford Cemetery with Bro. Mickey Hanks officiating. Interment will follow immediately after.

He was born November 7, 1974, in Union City, TN; the son of Mickey & Marjorie (Campbell) Hanks. He retired as a technician with Herman Jenkins and was a member of First Baptist in Murray City.

John is survived by parents, Mickey & Marjorie Hanks; two children, Blaine Hanks, Kaylie Hanks; and two brothers, Jackie Hanks (Jan), and Jeff Hanks.

Pallbearers are Jack Hanks, Jeff Hanks, Michael Ware, Randy Cochrum, Wendell Dukes, Billy Wallace, Jonathan Hanks, along with honorary pallbearer, Lisa Dukes.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. John Stacy Hanks.
