Joseph Hughes

Mr. Joseph Frank Hughes Jr., age 69 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Hughes will be conducted on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer with Bro. Joel Pigg officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Dyer, Tennessee. Mr. Hughes was born November 17, 1949 in Tounge Point Oregon; the son of Joseph Frank Sr. and Arda Walker Hughes. Mr. Hughes was retired truck driver for ITT, and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife Patsy Hughes, two sons, Kenneth Jones, Richard Hughes, and Amanda Ruark, one brother Bobby Hughes, and two sisters, Patricia Hughes, and Pam Lewellen, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
