Joyce Ann Gammons

Mrs. Joyce Ann Gammons, age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Gammons will be conducted on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 12PM in the chapel of Laneview Baptist Church with Bro. Albert Collins officiating. Burial will follow in New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, in Kenton.

She was born December 15, 1937, in Mason Hall, TN; the daughter of the late Finis & Mary Hensley Hundley. After retirement from Kellwood, Joyce volunteered her time at both Christian Endeavor and the Dyer Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gammons leaves behind three children, David Gammons (Belinda), Tony Gammons (Sandy), Jeff Gammons (Joie); several grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a few great-great grands. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Gammons; five children, Edward Gammons, Dale Gammons, Jeannie Green, Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Todd, Jamie Gammons; two grandchildren, JD Gammons, Stacy Petty; and two brothers.

Pallbearers are Jason Gammons, Brian Cooper, Ashton Young, Blake Allen Gammons, Aiden Elliott, Ethen Carrell. Honorary pallbearer is Brayden Lemings.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 10AM until service time in the chapel of Laneview Baptist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Joyce Ann Gammons.
