Julian Dale Yarbrough

Julian Dale Yarbrough, 76 years old of Mason Hall, TN, passed away from this life on May 13^th, 2023, peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN. Funeral services for Julian will be conducted on May 26^th, at 2pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, in Kenton, TN with Minister Benny McVay officiating. Interment will follow in the Mason Hall Cemetery, Mason Hall, TN.

He was born October 26^th, 1946; the son of the late Reed and Neva Yarbrough. He dedicated his life to his love of agriculture and had a passion for flying. In his time at Mason Hall High School, Julian was the Vice-President of the Tennessee Chapter for Future Farmers of America. He received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Tennessee at Martin. In his younger years, he traveled the country while working in the agriculture sales industry befriending farmers who shared his passion for the farming community. In his 40’s and 50’s, he owned several small businesses, but always ones that were intended to benefit the farming community. In his later years, he returned home to Mason Hall and looked after his ailing parents who precede him in death. Since their passing, and until his death, he has lived in Mason Hall and enjoyed the fellowship of his friends in the community that he treasured so greatly. He was a wonderful father to his children and an even better grandfather to his grandchildren.

Julian is survived by his brother, Dr. Robert Yarbrough; his daughter, Michelle Yarbrough; his son, Christopher Yarbrough and wife, Joanna; his granddaughter, Pyper Yarbrough; and his grandson, Zachary Yarbrough.

Julian is preceded in death by his parents, Reed Yarbrough and Neva (Pierce) Yarbrough; his brother, Wilburn Yarbrough; and nephew, Jerry Yarbrough.

The family will receive friends and the community from 10:30am to 2pm, at Karnes & Son Funeral Services in Kenton TN, on May 26^th, 2023.
