Julie Lavene Lawrence

Mrs. Julie Lavene (Dycus) Lawrence, age 81 of Dyersburg, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Dyer Nursing Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Lawrence will be conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10AM at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Trenton with Bro. Clayton Mahan officiating. Interment will immediately follow.

She was born October 13, 1941, in Bolivar, MS; the daughter of the late William Lonnie & Lura Alva (Ferguson) Dycus.  Julie was a cosmetologist and beautician and attended Ridgley Church of God.

She is survived by two children, Kristen Ashe, Randy Duke (Mary); three grandchildren, Amanda Floyd (Lanny), Joshua Duke, John Duke; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian Duke, Bradley Floyd, and L.D. Floyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lawrence; brother, William Lonso Dycus; and two sisters, Helen Aust, and Norma Hearod.
