Katherine Kosark

Katherine Marie Kosark was born on June 29, 1940 in Gibson County, Tennessee to the late Richard Mingle & Lorena Foster Mingle. She departed this life on Monday, November 20, 2017 at her residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 77 years 2 months and 21 days. Katherine Marie Kosark was a housewife and was a of member of the Bernie General Baptist Church in Bernie, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Jerry Kosark in 2004. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2007. Her survivors include: 1 Daughter: Mary Loyd & husband, Dennis Loyd, Jr. of Malden, Missouri. 2 Sons: Charles Johnson of Bernie, Missouri and Benny Johnson of Milan, Tennessee. 6 Grandchildren: David Reed, Krystal Santos, Randi Baker, Nicholas Smith, Amanda Johnson & William Springston. 16 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter: Carol Johnson & her brother: Dickey Mingle. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from 3-5 P.M. A visitation will be held at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee from 1-3 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2017 and funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee.
