Kenneth Bnard McGreger

On February 23, 2024, the Lord called Daddy home. Not just any home, but his Eternal home. He will be missed, and those of us here left on this Earth may be sad, but he is celebrating. He is up in Heaven with Jesus and getting to see Joyce, Papaw and Mamaw. He is having fun, and we take solace knowing that we know where he is now. Not in pain, not frustrated that his body is not working as he wants it — he is in Glory! Graveside services for Mr. McGreger will be conducted on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 1PM in Sunnyside Cemetery with Bro. Greg Lassett officiating. Interment will immediately follow. The family request that friends gather after the graveside at 142 Gentry Boucher Road, Kenton, TN, to reminisce about Mr. McGreger’s life. 

He was born October 29, 1938, in Pontotoc, MS; the son of the late Bnard & Johnnie (Purdon) McGreger. He retired as a truckdriver and was of the Baptist faith. 

He is survived by two sons, Lee McGreger (Marina), Steve McGreger (Jan); brothers, Wayne McGreger, Harold McGreger; grandchildren, Melissa Harden (Drew), Ryan McGreger (Ashley), Will McAlexander, Sarah McAlexander, Alina Coffman (Seth), Robert McGreger; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Harden, Chase Harden, Riley Coffman, Aurora Coffman, Elizabeth Schultz, and Gunner Pederson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce McGreger; and sister, Annette Tullos.
