Lanny Ray Oliver

Mr. Lanny Ray Oliver, age 77 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Oliver will be conducted on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10AM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. William Denman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Lanny was born on September 30, 1948, in Dyer, TN; the son of the late William and Hilda Oliver. He retired from Proctor & Gamble as a technician and was a member of Dyer Church of Christ. He served his country with the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda Oliver; son, Ron Oliver (Teresa); sister, Teresa Walker; two brothers, Damon Oliver, Ricky Oliver; two grandchildren, Colton Phillips, Taryn Phillips; and one great-grandson, Gabe Bradley. He was preceded in death by two children, Becky Dianne Oliver, Joel Oliver; and brother, Jerry Wayne Oliver.

Visitation will be conducted Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 5PM – 8PM, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
