Lennell Jones

Mrs. Lennell Bernice Jones, age 94 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, October 15, 2021, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, in Kenton.

Mrs. Lennell Bernice Jones was born April 23, 1927, in Trimble, TN; the daughter of the late John D. & Mary Virgie Pannells Bailey.  She was a homemaker and farmers’ s wife, she worked on the farm as well as being a homemaker and mother.  Mrs. Jones was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jones is survived by two children, Dennis Ray Jones, Barbara Henry; and two grandchildren, Vince McGraw, and Eric McGraw.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Jones; daughter, Carol Lynn Jones; and siblings, Lucille Cherry, Elease Morgan, L.C. Bailey, Fred Bailey, Lester Bailey, and Virgil Bailey.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lennell Bernice Jones.
