Ms. Lila Frances Browning, age 88 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Ms. Browning will be conducted on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1PM in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford with Larry Eddings officiating. Interment will follow in North Union Cemetery in Kenton.

She was born December 11, 1937, in Union City, TN; the daughter of the late Monte and Marie Gabel Minton. She was employed with Volunteer Insurance and offered tax services.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Eddings and Larry Eddings (Robbie); four grandchildren; Kobe Eddings (Bethany), Trajan Eddings Micha Jordan Eddings, Chasity Warren; three great-grandchildren Lila Jane Eddings, Mia Conley, Mason Warren and one sister-in-law Betty Minton. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Browning, parents, brother Phillip Minton, sister Nancy Corley, and her son Charles Eddings.

Dean Corley, Trajan Eddings, Kobe Eddings, Mason Chandler, Dudley Browning, and Matthew Browning will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 11AM – 1PM on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ms. Lila Frances Browning.
