Mrs. Lillie Leila Parker Rice Cotham, age 85, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on May 3, 2015, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Cotham will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Chad Gibson and Bro. Ricky Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer, Tennessee. Lillie Cotham was born June 18, 1929 in Yorkville, Tennessee to the late Lenard and Minerva Young Parker. Mrs. Cotham was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God church. Mrs. Cotham is survived by daughters, Cynthia Hall of Madison, Alabama, Theresa Rice of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; sons, Earnest Phillip Rice of Dyer, Timothy Ray Rice of Petosky, Michigan; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Wilkerson of Martin, Tennessee, Janie Richardson of Huntsville, Alabama; and brother, Bobby Parker of Dyer. She was preceded in death by husbands, Weldon Rice and Harry Cotham; and brothers, Harold and Ralph Parker. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 on Saturday, May 9. Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lillie Leila Parker Rice Cotham.
