Linda Cooper Dudley

Mrs. Linda Cooper Dudley, age 68 of Newbern, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, October 31, 2025, at 1pm at the First Baptist Church in Rutherford, with visitation beginning at 11am until service time.

She was born April 26, 1957, in Chicago, IL; the daughter of the late Robert Ray & Sarah Louise Barker Cooper. Linda was a supervisor at Wiscon Motors.

Mrs. Linda is survived by three children, Haley Shanklin, Wesley Shanklin (Jessi), Kurtis Shanklin (Ashley); stepdaughter, Allison Dudley Hicks; sister, Elaine Cooper Berry; eight grandchildren, Dallas Shanklin, Kelsey Shanklin, Landen Shanklin, Kortland Shanklin, Raelynn Shanklin, Khylen Shanklin, Lennox Hogshooter, Peyton Hicks; many cousins; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dudley; grandson, Alex ‘Moose’ Hogshooter; and brother, Jerry Michael Cooper.
