Mrs. Lisa Ann Skinner, age 57 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Funeral services for Mrs. Skinner will be conducted on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 11AM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Julian officiating. Burial will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.

She was born November 6, 1968, in Riley, North Carolina; daughter of the late Dan Edward King and Elizabeth Wilson King. Lisa worked as a nurse with Christian Family Medical and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Kenton. More than anything else, Lisa loved her children and grandchildren immensely. Her contagious smile will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Lisa is survived by her four children, Tony Simpson (Ashley), Mitchell Simpson (Nicole), Michael Skinner (Bethany), Emily Skinner (Clayton); sister, Tara Jones King; brother, Dale King; and eight grandchildren, Parker Simpson, Gavan Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Ellie Simpson, Elijah Simpson, Scout Hayes, Hudson Hayes, and Caden Brooks Skinner; and mother, Elizabeth King. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan King; and grandparents, Ed & Ercelle King.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 5PM-8PM, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lisa Ann Skinner.
