Lou Frances Knox, 97, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Lou was born on November 6, 1928, in Dyer, Tennessee, and grew up in Yorkville, Tennessee. After graduating from Yorkville High School, Lou moved to Memphis, where she spent the rest of her life. She worked for B.F. Goodrich for several years, and later served as the church secretary at Berclair Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member, and a wonderful Christian example to all who knew her.

Lou is survived by her brother, Larry Knox of Cordova, Tennessee, and her sister-in-law, Pat Knox of Burleson, Texas. Although she never married or had children, she had many nieces and nephews whom she treated as her own.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Repps and Ruby Knox; her brothers, Robert Knox and Ralph Knox; and her sister-in-laws Barbara Knox and Myrtice Knox.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee.
