Margaret Ellen Norman

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Norman, age 78 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Milan General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Norman will be conducted on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Tom Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

She was born August 22, 1944, in Man, West Virginia; the daughter of the late Alvie & Ione Dyer Adkins.  She worked at Tate’s Kwik Stop in Dyer before her retirement and attended North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by daughter, Ronda Thomas (Phillip); stepdaughters, Sandra Schmidt, Gail Norman; stepson, Michael Norman (Kathy); siblings, Mae Braundrof, Copper Adkins; two grandchildren, Shane Thomas, Makalla Thomas; eight step grandchildren; and five great step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene Norman.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm on Friday, August 26, 2022, at North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Margaret Ellen Norman.
