Mary Buchanan

Mrs. Mary Frances Buchanan, age 87 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday. March 6, 2018, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Buchanan will be conducted on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Fambrough officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton. She was born May 15, 1930 in Selmer, TN; the daughter of the late Troy and Bessie (Williams) Hicks. She was a inspector at Brown Shoe Company, and member of Laneview Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Dianna Fambrough, Judy Williams, Debbie Fulgum, Dana Abercrombie, and Michael Buchanan; siblings, Billy Hicks, Terry Hicks, Joyce Conway; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandhildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Buchanan; her parents; and three sisters, Frankie Morris, Linda Hicks, and Dottie Davis. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
