Mary Cooper

January 2nd, 1931 - May 31st, 2019 Mary Ruth Cooper age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, May 31st, 2019, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Cooper will be conducted on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer Chapel with Bro. Lynn Tharpe officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Cemetery, in Dyer. She was born January 2nd, 1931 in Gibson County; the daughter of William and Earley Mai (Pope)Ashmore. She was a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Company, and member of Dyer Church of Christ. She is survived by two children, Phil Cooper (Lana), Teresa Carson (Jeff); four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Cooper; and her parents. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer Chapel.
