Mary Mcewen

Mrs. Mary Starr McEwen, age 72 of Springville, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, June 5, 2017, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Cremation services are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. She was born August 23, 1944 in Dyer, TN; the daughter of Sam and Irma Harris Riley. She was a sewing machine operator at Kellwood Manufacturing, and attended Manleyville Cornerstone Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles McEwen; one child, Lani Akin; one brother, Jim Riley; one grandchild, Dustan Pritchard; and one great grandchild, Avery Pritchard. She was preceded in death by two children, Joey McEwen, and Mitzi McEwen. In lieu of flowers, that donations be made to St. Jude.
