Mary Poynor

Ms. Mary Alladine Poynor, age 90 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Ms. Poynor will be conducted on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer with Bro. Charles Fike officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Dyer, Tennessee. Ms. Poynor was born August 4, 1926 in Dyer, Tennessee; the daughter of the late James and Ollie Stewart Poynor. Ms. Poynor was a retired factory work with the Brown Shoe Company. Ms. Poynor was a member of the Mt. Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Ms. Poynor is survived by one sister Carolyn Martin, and one brother David Poynor both of Dyer, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sister’s Maxine Coffman, Julia Ann Phillips, two brothers Charles Edward Poynor, and Mirlan Poynor. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home.
