Mary Charlene Yarbro

Mary Charlene Duncan Yarbro was born July 31, 1922 in the family home in the Walnut Grove Community near Kenton; the daughter of Floyd and Avon Duncan.  She had one sibling, her brother Paris Allen Duncan.  She was the loving wife of James Yarbro.

She is survived by sons, Floyd Yarbro (Lavonne) and Randy Yarbro (Carol); grandsons, James, Jason, and J.P. Yarbro; and granddaughters, Millie Stallings, Larissa Perkins, and Tara Wingo.  She also leaves behind several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Paris Duncan; her loving husband, James William Yarbro; and her oldest son, Marlan Yarbro.

She was a long-time faithful member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir, always with a smile on her face.  She loved to travel and immensely enjoyed time and fellowship with her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Walnut Grove Baptist Church or to the Walnut Grove Community Cemetery maintenance fund.
