Mildred Kilburn

Mrs. Mildred Oletha Kilburn, age 96 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on March 27, 2016, at home. Funeral services for Mildred Kilburn will be conducted on March 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Kenton Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer, TN. She was born October 12, 1919 in Elbridge, TN.; the daughter of the late Robert Hayden Cunningham and Willie Rainey. She was a machine operator at Kellwood. She is survived by six children; Shirley Peevyhouse, Joanne Kilburn, Jerry Kilburn (Cathy), Bubba Kilburn (Celia), Wayne Kilburn (Donna), Aaron T. Kilburn (Beverly); one sister, Joan Green; and one brother, C.L. Cunningham; twenty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and twenty-one great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two of her children, Barbara Langston, and Cooper Heskett; and her husband Willie T. Kilburn. The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 2:00pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Kenton Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
