Nettie Tallent

Mrs. Nettie Alma Tallent, age 92 of Martin, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, May 28, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare – Volunteer Martin Hospital. Graveside services for Mrs. Tallent will be conducted on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00pm at Five Springs Cemetery in Albany, KY. She was born October 8, 1925 in Albany, KY; the daughter of the late Marion and Fronia (Melton) Madison. She was a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother, and homemaker. She is survived by three children, Joan Taylor, Joe Tallent, Johnny Tallent; six grandchildren, Olivia Maynard, Jessica Taylor, Kathryn Taylor, Joshua Tallent, Steven Tallent, Jessy Rai Tallent; and five great grandchildren, Harrison Maynard, Carson Maynard, Jones Tallent, Landon Tallent, and Sabrina Tallent. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth E. Tallent; son, James Alfred Tallent; siblings, Nita Wright, Robert Melton, Elmer Madison, Reed Madison, Raymond Madison, Granville Madison; and granddaughter, Samantha Tallent. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Tallbott Funeral Home (1106 N. Cross St.) in Albany, KY (42602).
