Norma Jean Workman

Mrs. Norma Jean Workman, age 79 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Otterbein Senior Care, Franklin, Indiana. 

Graveside services for Mrs. Workman will be conducted June 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery with Stanley (Stan) Davis officiating. Interment will immediately follow. 

Norma was born April 22, 1945, in Sharon, TN; the daughter of the late Robert Leonard & Mildred (Perry) Carson. She married Max Weldon Workman in 1961. She worked as a beautician for 30 years before her retirement.

Mrs. Workman is survived by daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Davis (Stan); son, Max Bradley Workman (Delissia); two brothers, James Carson, Joe Carson; and sister, Diane Belote; grandchildren, Jena Davis Nowak (Randy), Jeremy Davis (Catherine), Alisa Tatum (Mark), and Mary-Catlin (Workman) Zarecor (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Cayden Cates, Aleaha Tatum, Isaiah Tatum, Lila Jean Nowak, Louie John Nowak, and Chace Robert Zarecor. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max Workman; brothers, Stanley Carson, Billy Carson, and Marshall Carson; grandson, Chace (Workman) Wimberley; and granddaughter, Brittney VanderRoest.
