Patty Ann Robinson

Patty Ann Robinson, of Dyer, Tennessee passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on July 8, 2025.

Born on July 7, 1939, to Dyer residents Carl and Sadie Holt. Patty was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. In 1956, she married her high school sweetheart Charles Robinson and lived out their love story for over 69 years together. An adventurer and builder at heart, Patty will be remembered for her world travels and her gift for cultivating beauty as a master gardener. To those family and friends privileged to adventure alongside her, we will forever be grateful for the ways in which she built and helped us to thrive. Her memory will live on in the laughter, love, and lives of all who knew her.

Patty was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Amy Carol; and her cherished sister, Betty Redmond.

She will be missed dearly by her husband, Charles Edward; sons, Steve (Kim) Robinson of Dyer, TN and Mike Robinson of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Rebekah (Burt) Caraway of Greenville, MS; Adam (Christa) Robinson of South Asia; Lauren (Danny) Grimm of Europe; Matthew Robinson of Wilmington, NC; Emilee (Jared) Summers of Nashville; Anna Rachael Robinson of Memphis; and Sarah Robinson of Dyer; and six great grandchildren, Coers Caraway, Pierce Caraway, Sadie Grimm, Callie Robinson, Nolan Grimm and Nora Robinson.

Visitation with family and friends will be held, Friday, July 11, 2025, in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home beginning at 5PM until 8PM. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11AM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
