Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Ruth Green, age 77 of Kenton, TN, will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Kenton, with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating.

Mrs. Peggy Ruth Green was born September 27, 1948, to the late Jessie H. Popkins and Eva Lou Holdaway Popkins who survives. Mrs. Peggy was a retired Administrative Assistant with Kohler Company, along with being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Peggy is survived by her two sons, Jesse Green and wife Candy, Jeremy Green and wife Alicia; her mother, Eva Lou Popkins; one brother, Donald Popkins; six grandchildren, Kealy Coble and husband Blake, Jessilin Green, Kayla Kesterson, Autumn Green, Lindsey Green, Scout Green; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Coble, and Caylee Coble.

Mrs. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Jere Green; father, Jessie H. Popkins; her grandson, Cody Green; and her brother, Joseph Fitzgearld.
