Ms. Phyllis Marie Huey, age 87, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at home. Funeral services for Ms. Huey will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home – Kenton chapel at 2PM with Bro. Jon Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.

Phyllis was born February 12, 1939, in Kenton, Tennessee to the late William McKinnley and Demetra Maxine Huey. She was a caregiver and homemaker. Phyllis loved to go shopping, ride around town and in her spare time, color.

Ms. Phyllis Marie Huey is survived by two brothers, Amos Huey (Vicki), and Daniel Huey along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara Huey; and her sister-in-law, Deborah Huey.

Serving Phyllis as pallbearers will be Austin Eddlemon, Michael Bryant, Jimmy Dunagan, Zach Huey, Logan Dawkins, and BJ Dawkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Eddlemon and Dillon Huey.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until service time on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home – Kenton chapel.
