Rachel Marie Duck

Mrs. Rachel Marie Duck, age 68 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Duck will be conducted on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Dyer with Bro. Robert Powers, Bro. Joel Pigg and Bro. Lane Self officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was born March 13, 1952 in Reagan, TN; the daughter of the late Tavy Andrew & Lou Willie Wyatt Powers.  She was a nurse at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, and member of First Baptist Church in Dyer.

She is survived by her husband, Daymond Duck; three children, Karen Hall (Shane), Jeff McKee, Samuel Duck (Paige); siblings, John Powers, Robert Powers, Mark Powers, David Powers, Wilma Blair; and seven grandchildren, Catlin Wamble, Ryan Moulder, Morgan McKee, Emily Moulder, Nathan Duck, Rebekah Duck, and Jaxon Hall.

Family requests, in lieu of flowers, that gifts be made to the Tanya Taylor Mission Fund at the First Baptist Church in Dyer.

Visitation with family will be 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Dyer. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Rachel Marie Duck.
