Ralph Robert Kerr

Mr. Ralph Robert Kerr, age 80 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, March 25, 2024, at home. Cremation arrangements for Mr. Kerr are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, with a memorial service to be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Laneview Baptist Church in Kenton from 3PM-5PM. 

He was born September 9, 1943, in Houston, TX; the son of the late Heber Culberson & Rose Beryl (Krakower) Kerr. He worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Sergeant & Head Chef at the Louis C. Powledge Unit before his retirement and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a street minister and took in anyone who needed saving.

Ralph is survived by two children, Regina Kerr, and Jason Kerr; three stepchildren, Angeline Hannachi, Deborah Fout, and Joseph Perks; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Kathy Mae Kerr, stepchild, Midian Toombs; sister, Doralea Kerr; and his parents.
