Reed Yarbrough

Reed Young Yarbrough, age 91 of Mason Hall, Tennessee, passed away from this life on December 29, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City . Funeral services for Mr. Yarbrough will be conducted on Friday, January 1, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton with Bro. Bobby Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Mason Hall Cemetery in Mason Hall. Mr. Yarbrough was born August 14, 1924 in Mason Hall Tennessee; the son of the late Waymon H. and Mattie Reed Yarbrough. He was retired Farmer and Land Owner and worked the Yarbrough Brothers Seed Company, and Carpentered for Dyer Lumber Company. Mr. Yarbrough was a member of the Mason Hall Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Yarbrough is survived by two sons, Julian Yarbrough, Robert (Bob) Yarbrough, three grandchildren, two great- grandchildren. Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by his wife Neva Pierce Yarbrough, one son Wilburn Yarbrough, and his parents. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015, in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Kenton.
