Richard Marksberry

Mr. Richard Douglas Marksberry, age 48 of Kenton, Tennessee (formally of Sparta, KY), passed away from this life on December 15, at home. A Memorial Service for Mr. Marksberry will be conducted on Thursday, December 22 at 7:00p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Mickey Hanks and State Representative Bill Sanderson officiating. He was born April 28, 1968 in Carrollton, KY; the son of the late Mr. William David Marksberry. He was the Owner & Operator at Prime Trucking, in Springfield, MO. He is survived by his wife, Linda Schoolfield Elam; child, John South Wilson (Megan); grandchild, Emery Pearl Wilson; and two step-grandchildren, Hadlee, and Zayden. He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Tommy Marksberry. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Thursday, December 22, at New Salem Baptist Church.
