Ricky Joe Davis

Ricky Joe Davis, age 61 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Baptist Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. Graveside services for Mr. Davis will be conducted on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 11:00 am at Macedonia Cemetery in Kenton with Bro. Tony Jones officiating.  

He was born April 16, 1960, in Union City, TN; the son of Mary Louise Davis and the late Richard Davis. He was a farmer for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kenton.

He is survived by wife, Tandy Davis; mother, Mary Louise Davis; two children, Emily Hobbs (Bradley), Katie Ricketts (Bubba George); siblings, Cara Marvin, Doug Davis, Jerry Dale Davis; and four grandchildren, Davis Taylor, Blakely Ricketts, Logan Kate Ricketts, and River Ricketts. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Davis, and brother, Randy Davis.

Pallbearers will be Mike Dunn, Randy Davis, Brian Fender, Brian Coleman, Chad Long, Cody Rodriquez, Jason Menees, and Albert Simpson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service, Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the cemetery. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ricky Joe Davis.
