Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Edward Taylor, age 94, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Born November 17, 1931, to Raymond & Opal Taylor, in Gibson County, TN. Bob served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was the owner & operator of Taylor’s Saw Filing Shop in the Tyson Store Community. He was a member of North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Tyson Store Community.

Bob leaves behind wife, Ann Wylie Taylor; three children, Robert (Jenny) Taylor of Maryville, TN, Julia (Mike) Cardwell of Dyer, and Leigh Ann Moody of Dyersburg, TN; five grandchildren, Brooke Carson, Paige Hays, Lauren Taylor, Julianne Tejeda, and Celeste Moody; and seven great-grandchildren.

Bob is proceeded in death by grandchild, Erin Taylor; siblings, Joe Taylor, Carolyn Horner, Wilber Taylor, and Bill Taylor.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1PM until 3PM. Funeral Services will begin at 3PM, with Bro. Doy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to North Union Cemetery Fund, in care of Kasey Harris.
