Robert Earl Flowers

Robert Earl Flowers, age 88 of Wilmington, Illinois, formally of Dyer, TN, passed away from this life on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehab. Funeral services for Mr. Flowers will be conducted on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 1:00pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

He was born November 10, 1933, in Dyer, TN; the son of the late Clyde Hillary & Cly Ora Clark Flowers.  He was ironworker for Architectural Ornamental Ironworkers Local 63 in Chicago, IL, and member of the Masonic Lodge #208 for 55 years.

He is survived by son, Brian Flowers (Michelle); stepdaughter, Annie Wilkerson (Parker); two sisters, Elizabeth McKnight of Dyer, Martha Watkins of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Martina Flowers, Danielle Flowers, Misty Flowers; and step-grandchildren, Carly Wilkerson, and Aaron Wilkerson. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Brian Flowers Jr.; siblings, Harold Flowers, Jearold Flowers, Ruth Alexander, and Ruby Loynes.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Robert Earl Flowers.
