Robert Jones

Mr. Robert Joseph Jones, age 82 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be conducted on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 4:00 pm in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton. He was born December 13, 1935 in Jackson, TN; the son of the late Joseph and Robbie (Williams) Jones. He was a construction worker for LassLee-Rich Contruction, and served his country with the US Army. He is survived by five children, Daphne King (Dallas), Dalton Jones (Angela), Mickie Keele (Gerald), Kenny Mealer, Rena Williams; siblings, Eddie Jones, Patsy Fullington, Christy Jones; seven grandchildren, Kristian King, Kaitlin Jones, Courtney Mealer, Robert Williams, Sabrina Flowers, Stevie Williams, Christopher Keele; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Billy Frank Jones, Tommy Jones; and one grandchild, Talor Jones. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
