Roger Dale White

Roger Dale White, age 73 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union City. Funeral services for Mr. White will be conducted on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 1:00 pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Joshua Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.

He was born August 18, 1947, in Dyer, TN; the son of the late Eulan & Argie Roberts White. He retired as a heavy machine operator with the Gibson County Highway Department and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by wife, Laurie White; daughter, Lois Milligan; and siblings, Patricia Stanford, and Gary White. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Dale Alexander White.

Pallbearers will be Mark Stanford, Bryan White, Danny Gilles, Barry White, David Tidwell, and Cody Worrell.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested memorials to be made to:  St. Jude, Rutherford First Baptist Church, or Rutherford Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Roger Dale White.
