Ruth Helen Cooper

Mrs. Ruth Helen Cooper, age 83 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, January 31, 2020, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Cooper will be conducted on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer.

She was born May 11, 1936 in Kenton, TN; the daughter of the late Roy & Zula Duck Witherington.  She was a bookkeeper for Stewart Bros. Hardware in Memphis, TN for over 20 years before retiring, and was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ in Kenton.

She is survived by two children, Donna Fahy (David), Keith Cooper; siblings, Ellene Cooper, Bob Witherington; four grandchildren, Tommy Cooper, Tina Waldo, Zach Fahy, Nathan Fahy; and dozens of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Maxine McDonald, Leroy Witherington, and Louis Witherington; and her parents.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ruth Helen Cooper.
