Mrs. Sandra Lynn Franks, age 74 of Newbern, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Franks will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Yorkville Cemetery.

She was born November 27, 1951, in Trimble, TN, daughter of the late John and Roberta Hicks McLendon. She retired from World Color Press and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She had an infectious smile and will be terribly missed.

Sandra is survived by three children, Tammy Glidwell (David), Tracy Moore (Bill), Marcus Franks; two sisters, Linda McLendon, Carol Scheland; one brother, Michael McLendon; six grandchildren, Fallon Erwin (Devan), Hannah Morris (Michael), Chelsea Shaw (Taylor), Bailey Gray (David), Mikala Glidwell, Ryleigh Moore; and seven great-grandchildren, Nadia Erwin, Crawford Erwin, Kane Morris, Blair Morris, Norah Morris, Vincent Shaw, and Vella Shaw. She was preceded in death by her; husband Doug Franks, parents; and her brother, Wayne McLendon.

Visitation will be held from 10AM until service time at 1PM, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sandra Lynn Franks.
