Shirley Ann Clark, age 89, passed away from this life into her eternal home, April 21, 2024, at the Obion County Nursing Home in Union City TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be conducted Thursday, April 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Kenton, TN, with Bro. Brandon Norton officiating. 

Mrs. Clark was born February 4, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Clayborn and Minnie Montgomery Harris. She was a homemaker, served as an Alder person and a police commissioner for the town of Kenton, Tennessee. She also served as a wedding cake baker and caterer; and was a member of Kenton First Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Monica Ann Fagan (Eddie Ray), William Shawn Clark (Melissa), and Debra Sue Temple (Jimmy). She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband William Ashley ‘WA’ Clark; granddaughter, Brandy Ann Fagan; four sisters, Armelia Phelan, Sue Carolyn Jewell, Faye Stringer, and Evelyn Mayhall; and brother, Darrell Dane Harris.

The family will receive friends at Kenton First Baptist Church from 12:00PM – 1:30PM with services beginning at 1:30PM. There will be no graveside service to follow.

Those to serve as pallbearers are Taylor Chase, Brandon Hawks, Willam Shawn Clark II, Darrell Clark, Isaiah Temple, and Michael Clark.

Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Clark, Levi Temple, Landyn Temple, Christopher Quinn, and John Wyatt Sawyer.
