Shirley Ann Hardin

Mrs. Shirley Hardin, age 86, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. A Celebration of Life visitation for Mrs. Hardin will be conducted on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 1PM – 4PM in the chapel of New Salem Baptist Church, in Mason Hall. 

Shirley was the daughter of the late, Rex & Florine Mitchell, of Wynnburg, TN. Mrs. Shirley was a longtime employee of Lear Sigler, and Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Union City. 

She is survived by daughter, Holly (Ben) Edwards; stepson, Michael (Lorie) Hardin; brother, Gene (Debbie) Mitchell; four grandchildren, Ben Hardin, Kendrick Hardin, Kadie Palmer, Matthew Hardin; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Shirely was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Max Hardin; daughter, Cindy Edwards; sister, Virginia Vlasak; and was also the widow of Wallace Luckett.
