Shirley Kay Spellings

Shirley Kay Spellings, age 47 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Diversicare of Martin. Funeral services for Shirley Kay Spellings will be conducted on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Dyer Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer.

She was born January 22, 1972 in Alton, Illinois; daughter of David Floyd Sr. and the late Glenda (Hodge) Floyd. 

She is survived by her father, David Floyd Sr. and stepmother, Bobbie Floyd; grandfather, John Hurley; five children, Matthew Bye, Victoria Bye, Daniel Griggs, Jessica Mewhinney (Frank), Dustin Cody; siblings, Meredith Lentz, Tobi McClure, David Floyd Jr., Joe Miekle; and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Floyd.

Visitation with the family of Shirley Kay Spellings will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Shirley Kay Spellings.
