Susan Powers

Susan Powers, age 57, of Milan, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 4, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Susan Powers will be conducted on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home Rutherford with Bro. Don Hudgens officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery, in Rutherford, TN. She was born October 14, 1958 in Memphis, TN; the daughter of James Carroll Lawson and Mildred Gilliland Lawson. She was a fast food worker at McDonalds. She is survived by three children, Whitney Webb (Chris), Lindsey Powers, and Jessica Ody (Bryan); four siblings, Carolyn Reynolds, Oran Lawson, Diane Simpson, and Marilyn Blackburn; and 7 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12 - 2pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford.
