Thomas Alton Bullock

Reverend Thomas Alton Bullock, age 82 of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his home after battling a long illness. Funeral services for Reverend Bullock will be conducted on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church - Dyer with Bro. Harold Nation, Bro. Greg Waldrup, and Bro. Randy Mutter officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer.

He was born February 8, 1937 in Gleason; son of the late Doyle Bullock and the late Shirley Cooper. He was a man of God, serving many churches throughout his ministry; Paris First United Methodist Church, Beech Bluff, TN; Gasden United Methodist Church; Adamsville Methodist Church; Alamo Methodist Church; Dyer Methodist Church; Bethany Parkway in Memphis, TN; Grimes Memorial Methodist Church in Memphis; Mt. Zion in Medina, TN; and Moores Chapel in Gibson County.

He is survived by two children, Gail Sharp (Bryan), Ann Keller; one sister, Dianne Bullock Blackburn; three grandchildren, Matthew Jackson, Jennifer Frasher (Steven), Erin Howard; six great grandchildren, Jacob & Sean Jackson, Lauren & Noah Collins, and Jacolby & Jaylynn Rhoden; one nephew, Britt Blackburn; one niece, Jill Fagan; along with many friends and colleagues.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Gowan) Bullock.

Visitation with the family of Reverend Thomas Alton Bullock will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Reverend Thomas Alton Bullock.
