Thomas Franklin Kemp

Thomas Franklin Kemp, age 86 of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his home. Graveside services for Mr. Kemp will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Bells Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Eugene Norris officiating.

He was born January 26, 1935, in Rutherford, TN; the son of the late John Douglas & Maxine Culp Kemp. He retired as a diesel mechanic working at UPS and was a member of Range Hills Baptist Church.

He is survived by loving wife, LaCretia Kemp; three children, Jo Ann Logan (Mike), Chris Kemp, Jimmy Kemp; four grandchildren, Kenny Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Brooke Leitmeyer, Cayden Kemp; and two great grandchildren, Leonidus Leitmeyer and Azaiah Leitmeyer. He was preceded in death by brother, Max Douglas Kemp.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests are memorials to be made to St. Jude, or Range Hills Baptist Church.
