April 15th, 1928 - December 5th, 2018 Thomas Calvin Spellings age 90 of Dyer , Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018, at home . Funeral services for Mr. Spellings will be conducted on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Griers Chapel United Methodist Church, 31 Griers Chapel Road Dyer, TN 38330, with Bro. Damon Duck and Bro. Randy Mutter officiating. Interment will follow in Griers Chapel Cemetery. He was born April 15th, 1928 in Trimble , Tennessee; the son of John and Lois (Allen) Spellings. He was a administrative specialist at the Bank of Dyer, and member of Griers Chapel United Methodist Church. He served his country with the US Air Force. Military honors will be observed. He is survived by three children, Thomas R. Spellings, Kimberly L. Robinson, Diane Butt; siblings, Billy Spellings, Bobby Spellings, Carolyn Johnstone; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jane Spellings; sister, Mary Nell Bragorges; and his parents. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 , at Griers Chapel United Methodist Church.
