Vickie Cooper McCoy

Mrs. Vickie Cooper McCoy, age 64 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at home. Memorial services for Mrs. McCoy will be conducted on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 5PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Tharp officiating.

She was born October 23, 1961, in Dyer, TN; the daughter of the late Claude & Velma Cooper. Vickie had been employed at Bryan Custom Plastics as a supervisor until her retirement. She enjoyed participating in Relay for Life, hunting and fishing, and was a ‘country girl’ at heart.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Wilburn ‘Willy’ McCoy; daughter, Stephanie and son-in-law, Stephen Weatherford; son, Derek Harper and daughter-in law, Melissa Bishop; as well as daughters, Kayla and Tasha McCoy, and sons, Jessie McCoy and Thomas Rambo; and grandchildren, Jayden Ball, Braylen Ball, Tristan Ball, Caitlin Harper, Brooklynn Chappell, Wyatt Harper, Makenzie Harper, Alex Barkley, Alana McCoy, Victor McCoy, Kaitlyn DeVenney, Robbie Hawthorne, and Samantha Hawthorne . She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Velma Cooper; and sister, Belinda Davis.

Visitation with family and friends will begin at 3PM at the Dyer chapel and go until service time. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Vickie Cooper McCoy.
